Oct 19 · France imposes curfews after its worst rioting in years
Associated Press: Paris police issue overnight curfew in 2 areas of French capital
Grade A (100/100). Straight wire report
Lehrer score 100/100 (no deductions). Fixed scale: 90+ A, 80s B, 70s C, 60s D, under 60 F → A. Text read via ABC's copy of the same AP story.
Neutral wording. Adds context comparing the riots to 2023 and the yellow vests. Doesn't include Trump's remarks (outside its scope).
Agrees: Same curfews and counts.
Splits: Gives the exact curfew zones and hours; no U.S. political angle.
- Met. Rule: assume there is at least one other side
- Met. Rule: do nothing I cannot defend
- Met. Rule: do not distort, lie, slant or hype (met)
